Aeromedevac Achieves NAAMTA Medical Transport Accreditation
AMERICAN FORK, Utah (PRWEB) March 19, 2018 -- Aeromedevac Air Ambulance has been awarded medical transport accreditation by National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA). Aeromedevac provides medical transport services that focus on safety and best practices. Following a comprehensive audit by NAAMTA of administrative processes and policies, medical practices, and facilities, Aeromedevac achieved accreditation for their fixed wing program. Accreditation verifies that an organization meets or exceeds minimum standards of quality.
The NAAMTA accreditation program is founded upon standards that focus on quality patient care and safety, while providing service-based consultative and educational processes, and established best practices. NAAMTA accreditation is recognized as a symbol of quality by industry peers, third-party payers, medical organizations, liability insurance companies, state and federal agencies and by the public.
The NAAMTA Accreditation Standards identify criteria in all aspects of medical transport, including business policies, licensure, education, skills maintenance, communication, safety, etc. Through the accreditation process, Aeromedevac Air Ambulance demonstrated compliance to each of the defined standards and excelled in identifying best practice procedures. NAAMTA verified compliance through employee interviews, on-site evaluations, and process reviews, all of which were conducted using ISO 9001:2015 auditing guidelines.
Amy Arndt, NAAMTA’s Operations Director said, “Aeromedevac clearly demonstrated their commitment to providing quality patient care and transport safety through compliance to the NAAMTA Standards. We observed processes and evidence of compliance for planning, goal setting, and measurement of program goals and objectives. Each employee reflected a personal investment in fulfilling their role with an intense level of professionalism, yet treating each transport as if it were for a family member."
Adam Williams, President of Aeromedevac stated, “We are excited to achieve NAAMTA accreditation. It is another validation of our high standards when it comes to superior care of patients and customers. I am proud of our entire organization and their continuing commitment to these standards.”
