These enhancements expand support for room scheduling to virtually any scheduling system with this users to have more access to simple scheduling of meeting rooms, classrooms or any room being managed by RMS, whether inside a scheduling application, outside a conference room or using a mobile device.
RMS Enterprise is the scalable server- and cloud-based software solution from AMX that provides remote management and scheduling capabilities for AV assets, rooms and building systems. At Integrated Systems Europe 2014, AMX announced Google Calendar as its latest RMS native scheduling plug-in and today also announced support for Microsoft Exchange Web Services 2013 and Microsoft Office 365. Now with a total of five RMS native scheduling plug-ins, meeting room users have a range of premise- and cloud-based scheduling applications to choose from when interfacing with RMS scheduling. AMX agreed that having an RMS scheduling plug-in for any scheduling application on the market, even those not yet developed, would be ideal. Now, anyone that would like to develop their own plug-in for any third-party scheduling application can build it, using the new RMS API Developer’s Guide.
