Announcement: GuitarControl.com releases “Killer Pentatonic Scale Lick - Lead Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- Claude demonstrates this easy lead guitar lick, based on the pentatonic scale, that incorporates the techniques of alternate picking and cross picking as follows; 19th fret of the first string with 4th finger, 16th fret with 2nd finger and 14th fret with first finger, with the entire sequence played twice.
“A good exercise is to just play these three notes back and forth”, says Johnson. Next is the 16th fret of the 2nd string with 2nd finger and then Claude flattens out his 2nd finger and plays the 16th fret of the first string to the 14th fret with first finger and then back to the 16th fret of the 2nd string with 2nd finger. Then the entire sequence repeats based on the 2nd and 3rd strings instead of the first and 2nd strings.
Claude recommends playing it slow at first to get the “feel” for it and then slowly build up your speed. Guitar TAB’s are available for this easy lead guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
