Aquila 44 Power Catamaran Launches at Miami Boat Show
Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- Sino Eagle Yacht Company and MarineMax are proud to announce hull #1 of the new, custom designed Aquila 44 power catamaran. This little sister to the popular Aquila 48 (launched at the Miami Boat Show, 2013) is the latest power catamaran designed by the team and the first units ordered are slotted for MarineMax Vacations’ BVI charter fleet.
Like the Aquila 48, the 44 was developed to be an exceptionally comfortable cruising boat; placing advanced technology at the forefront of all design and build decisions. From the hull shape, to the selection of materials and manufacturing process, every consideration on the Aquila 44 was aimed at continuing the pedigree first born through the Aquila 48.
“We are excited to build upon the success of the Aquila 48 with this new offering. The Aquila 44 adds another option in our growing range of power cats and we are once again thrilled to deliver the first hulls to MarineMax Vacations for its charter fleet,” said Frank Xiong, CEO of Sino Eagle Group. “Bringing another new product to the market, and continuing to gain traction globally with our pure-bred power catamarans, requires the world’s top talent and we are honored to have the collaborated effort of MarineMax in the USA, J&J design group in Slovenia, and our own talented team in the USA and China to continue to grow Aquila.”
The Aquila 44 boasts a very innovative interior layout that features a master cabin that spans the full width of its 21 foot beam; a feature not seen before on a boat of 44 ft. long. She also offers 360 degree views from the salon and galley, large staterooms equipped with en-suite head and separate shower, as well the oversized flybridge with Aquila’s signature multiple access points to and from the deck. She has been built to CE Certification, Category A which is the recognized International standard for recreational boats.
The first Aquila 44’s will be in the MarineMax Vacations charter fleet as a MarineMax 443. This version features 3 cabins and 3 heads, a spacious salon and galley, as well as included upgrades like her induction stove top. Volvo Diesel engines were also chosen for their robustness and modern diesel technology.
“After offering the Aquila 38 and the Aquila 48 in our BVI charter fleet, we are proud to once again offer the latest Aquila model. Our customers demand the best and with the new 44, Aquila now offers a complete range of charter models to deliver the best boating vacations in the British Virgin Islands,” said Lex Raas, President of MarineMax Vacations.
In addition to charter opportunities through MarineMax Vacations, MarineMax is also the exclusive distributor of Aquila in the U.S. Customers interested in purchasing an Aquila Power Cat can find more information at http://www.aquilaboats.com or http://www.marinemax.com/aquila.
The Aquila 44 / MarineMax 443 will be presented to the media and public for the first time at the 2014 Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show from February 13th to 17th at the CruiserPort display on Collins Avenue.
