Award-Winning Event Entertainment Agency Mark Sonder Productions is Now Offering Tour Dates for Shadows of the 60's: A Tribute to The Four Tops
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- Mark Sonder, MM, CSEP and the chief entertainment officer at the award-winning music and entertainment talent agency Mark Sonder Productions is proud to offer open tour dates for Shadows of the 60's: A Tribute to The Four Tops, featuring the singer-songwriter Dave Revels.
From costume changes, choreography and musical arrangements, Shadows of the the 60's: A Tribute to The Four Tops remain true to the magic of the original recorded performances. The emphasis on participation has made this production an audience and buyer favorite. Audiences, encouraged to sing along to the hits, often find themselves dancing along as well. “We are not trying to be the Four Tops, but rather help us all relive that Motown magic by taking you on a stroll down memory lane to revisit perhaps what was America’s most vibrant and innovative period in popular music history,” remarks Dave Revels.
The production features a veteran cast of singers and musicians, which include two female vocalists. When asked why women are a part of a Tops Tribute, Revels points out that on some of the Tops’ hits of the early 60’s, they were joined in the studio by the female trio, The Andantes. Their signature vocal sound is evident on the Tops’ hit, “Ask The Lonely.“
Dave Revels ongoing charitable causes are woven into the touring schedule of his popular Motown Tribute Production, “Shadows of the 60's: A Tribute to The Four Tops."
Dave Revels, author of the patriotic song, “Stand Up America,” has been raising money and supporting worthy causes for over 15 years. From autism, to activities in support of our men and women of the armed forces serving overseas, to hurricane and earthquake relief efforts, Revels has shared his message of hope and unity across America. Following Hurricane Katrina, he raised several thousand dollars for the Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans. He helped to raise funds for the building of two water towers in Haiti to aid with efforts to improve conditions. He has also brought his message of national pride to schools across the country as his song, “Stand Up America,” was introduced into public schools by educators looking for methods to help bridge the gap between their growing multiracial student population. The song’s message promoting racial and social harmony amongst all the people of America, has become popular with students and teachers, from kindergarten to high school.
