Axess 2 Commissioned to Provide Lifts for Drop Dead Clothing Store
(PRWEB UK) 18 August 2014 -- Axess 2, the lift solutions specialists based in Clitheroe, have been commissioned to provide customer lifts for Drop Dead Clothing’s Sheffield store. Founded by the lead vocalist of metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon, the store is renowned for its cutting edge alternative style, and needed a practical and efficient lift which would fit well with its aesthetics. Based on their reputation for excellent service and their range of versatile products, they approached Axess 2 for a solution.
Because the lift and its structure would become an integral part of the store, it was vital that the materials and finishes were chosen to complement the industrial style used in the interior, as well as choosing a lift which would meet the practical needs of the store. Axess 2 created a bespoke steel shaft for their Leonardo lift, providing a 5 person (400kg) capacity single entry lift.
The cabin was finished in laminated steel, with a mirror and brushed stainless steel handrail fitted on the sidewall to comply with Part M Building Regulations and the Disability Discrimination Act, with an emergency dial function from the lift’s interior to Axess 2’s control centre. The interior was illuminated with LED down lights to provide stylish lighting whilst minimising energy consumption.
A spokesperson for Axess 2 said: “The system we fitted here was a three-stop machinery directive lift, chosen for its energy-efficiency, and the fact that it is a space-saving low pit solution. We always pride ourselves on going the extra mile to help our customers find the perfect product to suit their requirement.”
Based in Clitheroe, Lancashire, Axess 2 is a family owned company offering a range of lift solutions for both residential and commercial properties.
