Back to the Beach Weekend July 12th & 13th Will Feature Fireworks Display
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 09, 2014 -- On Saturday July 12th and Sunday July 13th, Staten Island Borough President James S. Oddo and The Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund will host the Annual Back to the Beach Celebration at South Beach on Staten Island from 10 AM-dusk each day. The non-profit has confirmed that this year there will in fact be a fireworks display. The display will take place on Saturday, July 12th at roughly 9 PM.
In addition to the fireworks, this year’s event will also feature over 100 vendors, more than 20 rides for the kids, monster trucks sponsored by Diamond Ready Mix, and three stages featuring live musical performances each day.
“It gives us great pride to partner with the Borough President on an event that has become a tradition for many families on the island,” said Massimo DiDonna, President of The Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund. “We’re looking forward to bringing the community together for a fun-filled weekend celebrating our borough, and I encourage everyone to stop by.”
Outside of the partnership with The Borough President’s Office, this year’s event sponsors also include Richmond County Savings Foundation and Pratt Industries.
“I am excited to partner with the Bini Fund and applaud Pratt Industries and the Richmond County Savings Foundation for their contributions, which will make a fireworks display a reality at this weekend’s event," said Staten Island Borough President James S. Oddo. "This is a great opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a great day and special evening on our beachfront.”
The event is free to attend and more information, exact locations, and a complete lineup of the scheduled musical performances are available by visiting http://www.BiniFund.org.
