SpecPro, based in Papillion NE, has a combined 65 years of experience in consultation, inspection, forensic analysis, maintenance, repair and replacement of existing systems. The company is now the National Retrofit Distributor for Duo-Gard.
Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Canton MI, Duo-Gard designs, engineers and manufactures commercial daylighting systems for both retrofit and new construction, specializing in translucent polycarbonate glazing technology and proprietary framing.
Both companies said they're responding to an urgent need in the industry. Researchers at the Rocky Mountain Institute report that the vast majority of current building stock will still be in place in 2030. Much of that stock is living today with dilapidated, degraded daylighting systems that are wasting energy and worker productivity. This presents a huge opportunity for retrofitters.
