Country Park Child Care to Participate in Toys for Tots Toy Drive
Williamsville, NY (PRWEB) December 10, 2013 -- Country Park Child Care is once again excited to participate in the annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Donations can be dropped off at Country Park anytime between the hours of 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. until Dec. 16. All donations are gratefully accepted and will bring joy to a little boy or girl. The holiday season is a time to show compassion and help a friend in need, which is why Country Park strives to get everyone in the spirit of sharing and caring.
How can children be protected from the frigid winter weather of Western New York? Always remember to dress in layers. Hats, gloves, scarves, boots are musts. Practice safety when sledding and skating on slippery snow and slick ice. Know the signs of frostbite and hypothermia. Warm up with some hot cocoa, PJ’s, and share a story like “Just a Snowman” by Mercer Mayer.
Country Park offers wondrous winter activities to all children up to 12 years of age. School-age children have a blast at their outdoor winter wonderland, slipping and sliding down the bunny sled hill. Winter break is filled with fun and educational activities in their vast, home-like child care center with 10 different theme rooms to experience. Even Santa himself will be visiting the school age kids and tiny tots of Country Park on December 19th.
November’s Turkey Trot Food Drive was a tremendous triumph. Country Park families successfully raised over 100 pounds in food donations for the Food Bank of Western New York. The kiddos had a gobbling good time trotting through the different theme rooms of Country Park and celebrating their success with all types of turkey-themed activities. The event was a tremendously thrilling way to give back to friends in need right in the neighborhood.
As the new year approaches, Country Park is excited to offer a limited time 2014 enrollment discount. New families that enroll during the month of January will receive free registration, a $100 value. Sign up for a tour today. To find out more about this special offer, call 716-626-9039 or e-mail director(at)countrypark(dot)com, but hurry because spaces are limited.
About the company:
Country Park Child Care was established in 1990 by Linda Clark. Clark wanted to implement her philosophy on early childhood education, which was a comprehensive and nurturing plan for high-quality child care. She took the time to ensure that she had a safe environment, a professional and highly-trained staff to be proud of, an environment fulfilling to both, parents and children, balanced educational programs, superb hygiene including bathroom and diaper procedures, immaculate housekeeping, an odor-free environment, top-notch hands-on creative lesson plans and attention to table manners.
Clark also encourages parents to get involved in the program by sharing any pertinent information, books, songs and videos, cultural and other materials that are relevant to Country Park’s activities. She feels strongly that parent/teacher communication is vital to a child’s growth and development. Over the years, Country Park has received many complimentary comments from the parents of the children entrusted to their care. For those interested in entrusting Country Park with the care of their child, those comments may be interesting to see.
Clark wants each parent to be absolutely confident when they leave their child in the care of the staff at Country Park that their child will be safe, happy and given the opportunity to explore and participate in a fulfilling day of educational, hands-on fun. Country Park Child Care offers day care and preschool programs. For more information please visit, http://www.countrypark.com/.
