DC Celebrities Take to the Dance Floor for Local Charities on October 25th at the Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner
Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) August 22, 2014 -- Local celebrities are hoping to win your vote as they compete in the inaugural DC’s Dancing Stars Gala on Saturday, October 25th at the Ritz Carlton - Tysons Corner.
The Dancing with the Stars style competition, presented by Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Fairfax and supported by the Washington Redskins Alumni, will feature local celebrities performing a professionally choreographed ballroom dance for a panel of celebrity judges and attendees. The dancing stars will be competing for the honor of being crowned DC’s Inaugural Dancing Champion.
“This is the most challenging and altogether nerve racking thing I’ve ever done, but I’m in it to win it,” said former NFL star John Booty.
Washington Redskins legends Chris Cooley and Clinton Portis will serve as hosts for the evening, while Gary Clark of the Washington Redskins, Jonathan Roberts of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and Chris Bukowski of ABC’s The Bachelorette will be guest celebrity judges. The event is scheduled to include performances by America's Miss DC winners Antoinette Cordova and Sarah Hillware; WUSA9 television personalities Mike Hydeck and Andrea Roane; former NFL star John Booty of ABC Sportstalk; Rina Shah of PBS; Paul Wharton of The CW and Holden Kushner of 106.7 The Fan.
