Bruce Graham, the owner of East End Screen Printing, a Long Island printing company, responds to an article published by Triple Pundit on October 3rd, which discusses a new t-shirt fundraising platform launched by CaféPress
According to an article published by Triple Pundit titled “Design, Sell Impact: Using T-Shirts To Change Lives,” CafePress recently launched a new fundraising platform that allows organizations or individuals to raise money online through t-shirt sales. The platform, Tfund.com, could help people fundraise for causes without “incurring overhead expenses.” The article says Tfund lets users set a fundraising goal, design t-shirts and then sell them in support of a cause. “T-shirts are only produced and shipped once the minimum sales goal is obtained,” the article says.
In the article, Patrick Cerreta of CafePress says, “Fundraising opportunities have exploded with the advent of crowdfunded campaigns. Tfund is unique in that it gives campaigners a quick, easy and no-cost way to start earning money for a special cause or idea.”
Bruce Graham, owner of East End Screen Printing, a Long Island screen printing company, says crowdfunding has become a new sensation to raise money to support a cause or a project. “Tfund is a great platform for organizations and individuals to make their ideas and their t-shirts come to life,” he says. “T-shirts not only help people show support for their cause, but they also give people something for donating money or effort. The t-shirt has become not only a respected form of expression, but also a fundraising staple. It shows how versatile a t-shirt really is and how important this style item has become in our culture.”
