Eleu Pacific Partners Secures Three Awards from IDIQ Contract with Military Health System - Pacific Joint Information Technology Center
Reston, VA (PRWEB) November 07, 2013 -- Eleu Pacific Partners, LLP – a joint venture of Qbase, LLC – was recently awarded three additional task orders with the Military Health System (MHS) Pacific Joint Information Technology Center (JITC.) The new RTOPs total nearly $14 million and are for a period of 2 years. Eleu previously won the initial IDIQ contract and first RTOP with the MHS-Pacific JITC in the Fall 2012 and is engaged as prime contractor on four active RTOPs.
The Pacific JITC, based in Maui, Hawaii, is the MHS center for proof of concept and prototyping of information management and information technology products and services to support DoD and VA medical readiness requirements and information technology modernization needs. Their mission is to rapidly research, test, and develop warfighter medical solutions and products (through pilots or prototypes) that provide mission critical value and actionable information to the DoD, including the Services, Combatant Commanders, and the VA.
Under these new contracts, Eleu will support on-going research and analysis for the DoD in the following areas:
- Identity Management – Eleu will research and test new software to improve the exchange of patient identity and patient discovery across the eHealth Exchange (formerly named “Nation Wide Health Information Network.) Eleu will also evaluate and test the Araxid software platform as a potential solution to resolve patient identity issues, while protecting access to individual medical records across the VA, DoD, and external health providers within the eHealth Exchange.
- Theater Systems – through Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP), Eleu will map the theater system environment currently in use and provide an analysis of how theater systems can evolve to utilize new integration approaches using the Enterprise Service Bus and Service Oriented Architecture.
- Vision Care – through the Optimal Vision Care Prototype research program, Eleu will investigate how standards can be applied to the recording of eye care clinical documentation. As part of this program, Eleu will capture clinical workflows, data elements, and prototyping solutions that will enable caregivers to improve the documentation of eye-related care in both the VA and DoD.
“Qbase is honored to be given the opportunity to continue working with the Pacific JITC. We understand the critical role that they play in advancing technologies and approaches for identity, theater, and vision medical records,” said Qbase SVP and Eleu Managing Partner Director, Gary Sofo. “With Eleu Pacific Partners, we have a strong organization of experienced teaming partners anxious to support the Pacific JITC as they progress toward accomplishing that goal.”
Eleu Pacific Partners, LLP is a joint venture located in Maui, Hawaii created to serve the needs of the Pacific JITC organization.
