Florida Hospital Carrollwood is Teaming Up With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Provide Occupational Health Services to Bucs Employees
(PRWEB) August 14, 2014 -- Florida Hospital Carrollwood Occupational Health Services and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are teaming up to provide Workers’ Compensation services for the 400+ employees that support the Tampa Bay region’s favorite NFL team. This is another element of the partnership between Florida Hospital and the Buccaneers that both organizations announced last year, when Florida Hospital became the Exclusive Hospital of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Together, the organizations are making a commitment to positively impact the health and wellness of the Tampa Bay community.
“We are excited to extend our partnership and services to the Buccaneer team members who keep everything moving behind the scenes,” said Joe Johnson, Florida Hospital Carrollwood President & CEO. “Healthy employees create a healthy company, and our Occupational Health Services team is proud to help the Bucs build a healthier workforce.”
Florida Hospital Carrollwood Occupational Health Services helps get Tampa Bay area employees healthy and back to work quickly when they have had an on-the-job injury. The 6,000 square foot occupational health clinic has seven highly experienced medical staff. In addition to Worker’s Comp, the clinic also provides physical therapy and onsite digital imaging, 24-hour drug testing, DOT physicals, pulmonary function testing, and respirator testing (FIT) immunizations. “We are very proud of our partnership with Florida Hospital and we look forward to working with them to ensure that our employees receive the best follow up medical care available after an injury,” said Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford.
