Galina Loseva Messmer Shares Story of Horrific Tragedy, Hope in New Book
INTERLAKEN, N.Y. (PRWEB) November 16, 2015 -- On January 22, 1999, Galina Loseva Messmer was on her way to pick up her sons. Little did she realize the horrific scene waiting for her. Her estranged husband had murdered her three young sons before taking his own life.
Now, in “Galina’s Hope: Beyond the Fire” (published by WestBow Press), Messmer shares her story and the hope she found in God in the face of utter tragedy. A moving tale, “Galina’s Hope” takes the reader from Russia to America, and beyond.
As her life became a struggle between hope and despair, Messmer fought to reclaim her spirit in the midst of citywide scrutiny. Overcoming the dark act, she now writes “Galina’s Hope” as a beacon for others wading through the darkness.
“I want to prevent any tragedies that I possibly can,” Messmer says. “I want to be an encouragement for anyone, of any age, who is in the midst of a severe tribulation or has passed through one and is dealing with grief and pain. I want to see people turn their life over to God and to find hope and eternal life in Him, especially before they make poor choices and have to suffer as I did.”
