Details: During the workshops, GS1 US experts and GS1 US National Data Quality Program participants across multiple industries will draw on early adopter experiences to provide guidance on the steps necessary to establish or enhance an existing data quality program within a standards-based framework. Topics include an overview of the components of an effective data quality framework; the GS1 US National Data Quality Program framework; the five-point best practice guidance for new item setup; a review of the GS1 GTIN Allocation Rules as they relate to the GS1 US National Data Quality Program; and an overview of the GDSN Package Measurement Fundamentals.
This workshop is designed to assist organizations with:
• Understanding the GS1 US National Data Quality Program and the certification requirements
• Understanding the initial attributes and key performance indicators required for certification
• Establishing a solid foundation for quality data within your organization
• Determining readiness for data quality certification
