CES, Las Vegas (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- Immersive Ventures is pleased to announce the acquisition of iMove Inc. of Portland Oregon. This transaction solidifies Immersive’s technological and market leadership in the 360-degree interactive video market.
Immersive Ventures will consolidate iMove operations with it’s wholly owned subsidiary Immersive Media in Vancouver Washington and the patent portfolio under Immersive Licensing Inc. of Dallas Texas. The combination of these two organizations will simplify decision-making and provide more innovative and robust solutions for all market segments.
As pioneers in the 360-degree video market both Immersive Media and iMove have been market leaders in shaping 360 interactive video for the situational awareness, geospatial and entertainment sectors for the past decade. Both companies started in the military intelligence sector and have lead successful commercial implementations such as Google Streetview, 2nd screen experiences for many broadcasters including ABC, NBC,CBC and CBS as well numerous marketing campaigns for tier one brands such as Doritos, Lexus and American Express Unstaged.
