ING Source Inc. Announces New OrthoSleeve Products for Knee Pain and Elbow Pain Now Made in the USA
Hickory, NC (PRWEB) April 21, 2014 -- Just as springtime brings new life to nature, it's bringing exciting new developments to ING Source, Inc.'s OrthoSleeve line of compression products as well.
First, April sees the launch of three new products in the popular OrthoSleeve line:
The KS6 Compression Knee Sleeve, a thin, comfortable alternative to bulky and uncomfortable knee braces that can be worn under normal pants and clothes for extended periods. The KS6 helps treat common causes of knee pain such as arthritis, Runner's Knee, ITBS, and patellar tendonitis.
The PS3 Compression Patella Sleeve is focused more narrowly on common conditions affecting the patella (knee cap) such as patellar tendonitis, or Jumper's Knee.
The ES3 Compression Elbow Sleeve eases the pain of Tennis Elbow and Golfer's Elbow, two very common complaints among athletes and aging individuals who are trying to stay active.
All three new products utilize the same patent-pending Compression Zone Technology that has made the FS6 Compression Foot Sleeve and the CS6 Compression Calf Sleeve such popular products over the last two years.
"As the OrthoSleeve line continues to expand," says Dave Higgins, CEO of ING Source Inc. and inventor of the OrthoSleeve concept, "it's truly fulfilling to be able to attack so many different causes of pain for our customers. We're helping people live a more active life with less pain, which keeps options open for people of all walks of life."
In addition to an expanding product line, ING Source has also joined forces with Elastic Therapy Inc.(ETI) in Asheboro, NC, to take on the bulk of the manufacturing of OrthoSleeve products that are sold and distributed in North and South America going forward.
Until now, OrthoSleeve products were manufactured in Taiwan and shipped to the ING Source Inc. headquarters in Hickory, NC or ING Source Ltd. in the UK for sale and distribution worldwide. While the Taiwan factory will continue to manufacture product for Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East, the larger North and South American markets will receive product produced in cooperation with ETI.
"It's always been our goal to bring manufacturing back to the U.S. when it became feasible to do so," says Higgins, "and I'm thrilled we could keep it right here in North Carolina, too, where some of the best medical hosiery and specialty apparel has been produced for over a hundred years!"
Elastic Therapy, Inc. was formed in 1989 and has grown into one of the largest manufacturers of medical grade compression products in the world. They employ over 200 workers in the Asheboro, NC facility.
ING Source, Inc. produces five different compression sleeves that combine the benefits of orthopedic support and graduated compression to treat common painful conditions such as plantar fasciitis, venous insufficiency, runner's knee, and tennis elbow. All products are available for purchase online or through thousands of local retailers worldwide. Get more information at http://www.orthosleeve.com.
