(PRWEB UK) 7 October 2013 -- It has been reported in The Express that more than 1 in 3 UK visas granted to migrant entrepreneurs should have been refused. Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigrations, John Vine published a report on 12th September, Tier 1 Investor and Entrepreneur Visa Scheme, which revealed that immigration officers repeatedly failed to establish if applicants had enough cash or to double check documents. In the entrepreneur category, it was found that only 62.5% of those granted new visas were deemed reasonable.
A Home Office spokesperson explained that “We recognise there is more to do in terms of customer service. The newly formed UK visas and immigration Commands is now focused on providing a high quality service.”
Renowned for their professional visa assistance, the team at Interdean understand the challenges that can face those applying for visas. A representative from the firm was eager to share their recommendations on the process.
“There are a few things to consider when it comes to making a visa application. Firstly, remember to provide evidence of everything. Not only will this give your application the best chance of success, it can also help to speed up the process. You should also begin your application significantly ahead of your travel plans to allow the visa office time to process your application. Finally, don’t be tempted to book your flights until you have your visa, and remember that Interdean offers free visa assistance to the UK and other destinations around the world.”
