InventHelp® Client Patents “Hanging Folder Stops”—Designed to Limit Movement of Files
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 03, 2014 -- InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Washington, has designed a device to limit movement of files within a drawer or cabinet. This invention is patented.
“Hanging Folder Stops” would provide an effective means for separating files. The product would be made from a section of hard plastic tubing split from end to end on its top surface. The support would measure 1-inch long and 3/8-inch in diameter, with a notch incorporated into each end of the tubing, and would clip into the file rails.
To install, the user would bend the tubing sections and fit them over the file rails. Once in place, the tubing sections would prevent the files from being pushed backward. The supports could be clear or color-coded and offered with pinch-type grips to facilitate installation.
“I came up with this idea because of the difficulty I experienced when trying to access hard-to-reach folders at the back of my filing cabinet,” said the inventor. “Whenever I wanted to get the last few folders at the back, I had to push all the files forward, which is a nuisance. This inspired me to come up with a system that keeps files from being pushed to the back of the cabinet.”
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. OCM-149 at (800) 851-6030.
