Jancyn Provides Mystery Shopping Opportunities To Those Still Struggling With Unemployment
San Jose CA (PRWEB) August 01, 2014 -- The Department of Labor has released their July 2014 unemployment data and the reporting continues to be encouraging. Non-farm payrolls increased 209,000 last month while unemployment has dipped to 6.2%. Reuters has reported, that Sean Lynch, managing director of global equity and research strategy at Wells Fargo Private Bank in Omaha, Nebraska has stated, "It still points to a job market and an economy that is improving, but we also have the absence of wage pressures building, which is becoming another concern for investors."
However, a faction of the population counts themselves amongst the long-term unemployed while another several million Americans fall within the underemployed category. These are individuals who do currently work, but at a position or wage that is below what is required for them to sustain their lifestyle. This could be someone working part-time, or taking employment that they are overqualified for, just in order to continue to make ends meet.
However, there are creative options for people such as this who need to add income to their household. According to Vicki Dempsey, Vice President of Jancyn Evaluation Shops, “For those who still struggle with finding sufficient employment, mystery shopping is a great supplement. Shoppers can make their own hours and take as many or as few assignments as they would like. Many shoppers work for multiple mystery shopping companies, which increases their chances of finding interesting and fulfilling assignments.”
Forbes also reported today that both the May and June job gains data has been adjusted. For May, the revised number is 229,000 (up from 224,000) and for June the revised number is 298,000 (up from 288,000). The largest gain was in professional and business services, followed by manufacturing, retail trade and construction.
Ms. Dempsey goes on to indicate, “Obviously, these numbers are encouraging and positive indicators for a number of individuals. For those still left behind, they should check the Mystery Shopping Providers Association or MSPA website to find accredited, quality mystery shopping organizations. Jancyn has been in business for over 30 years and are proud members of MSPA. And, we always welcome new shoppers!”
