July 31, 2013 Real Estate Performance Review for Fox River Grove Announced by John Herman Team

The Illinois real estate performance review showed a decrease in the number of attached and detached homes for sale in Fox River Grove. The number of attached homes for sale declined from 9 homes for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 3 closed sales for the year ending July 31, 2013, and the number of detached homes for sale dropped from 49 homes for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 37 homes for the year ending July 31, 2013. There were mixed results, however, for the number of new listings for attached and detached homes for sale. The number of new listings for attached homes fell from 17 new listings for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 7 new listings for the year ending July 31 2013, but the number of new listings for detached homes increased from 117 new listings for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 137 new listings for the year ending July 31, 2013.
There were also mixed results for the month’s supply of inventory for attached and detached Fox River Grove homes for sale. The month’s supply of inventory for attached homes rose from zero homes for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 1.8 homes for the year ending July 31, 2013, and the month’s supply of inventory for detached homes dropped from 9.9 homes for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 6.1 homes for the year ending July 31, 2013. There was also mixed results for the market time for homes sold in the area. As the number of days attached homes remained on the market increased from 216 days for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 349 days for the year ending July 31, 2013, the number of days detached homes stayed on the market dropped from 192 days for the year ending July 31, 2012 to 117 days for the year ending July 31, 2013.
