Marshmallow Fun Company Introduces Sweet Array of New Inventions at Toy Fair
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 04, 2014 -- From gargantuan building blocks to RC helicopters, the 2014 Toy Fair is a veritable wonderland that promises fun for all. But amid all the excitement, one exhibitor left everyone clamoring for s'more: Marshmallow Fun Company.
At New York City's most popular toy show, the Dallas, TX company fed attendees' curious appetites with a sneak peek of their innovative new products, many of which are scheduled to hit shelves in September.
Who you gonna call if you're looking for a fun time? Diehard Ghostbusters fans, rejoice: Marshmallow Fun Company recently confirmed a licensing deal with Sony Entertainment. At the Toy Fair, the company showcased a brand-new Stay Puft series of products, ranging from marshmallow shooters to slime orb balls. “We feel a natural kinship with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and we're thrilled to be part of Ghostbusters' 30-year anniversary,” said co-founder Beaver Raymond.
But what about those of us who are more concerned about zombies than ghosts? Not to worry: Marshmallow Fun Company's got that aspect of the supernatural world covered, too. After all, it's not hard to imagine that zombies get sugar cravings just like the rest of us. “Here's a top secret: Zombies love marshmallows,” Raymond said. “They give them power.” Available this fall, a new Zombie series will pair marshmallow shooters with zombie targets, enabling one and all to attack the undead (or unsuspecting parents).
Meanwhile, in the world of the living, Marshmallow Fun Company has continued to enjoy a successful partnership with Duck and Buck Commander since summer of 2013. Currently available for sale, the new Duck & Buck Commander Reckoning Series includes a Quacker Straight Shooter that makes duck call sounds—just what folks need to get “quacking” on a good time.
Though the company has kept busy with licensing partnerships, it still manages to refine and improve its marshmallow-shooting technology. At the Toy Fair, the company introduced a new Super Shooter that launches multiple marshmallows at a time, as well as Micro Marshmallow shooters that add a micro dimension to mega-sized fun.
Marshmallow Fun Company is also expanding its line to include toys that don't require marshmallows at all. One such invention is the Bopper, a 2-player game in which players hit soft, inedible ammo back and forth using a racket-like device that includes ammo storage built into its handle.
“I'm always looking for a different twist when bringing ideas to the marketplace,” Raymond said. To see that philosophy in action, leave it to beaver—literally. The company has created a new Beaver Blaster that promises a “dam” good time. Simply pull its tail to launch a foam ball at the “dam” target included in the package. “This was a natural fit for our flying ammo,” explained Raymond. “Plus, the Beaver elicits a laugh from the get-go.”
Prepare to experience more laughs down the line—the company has plans to launch other animals, including a gator, shark and squirrel. It's a jungle out there, and lucky for us, Marshmallow Fun Company has invited us along for the ride.
Marshmallow Fun Company is continuing to rise to new levels with each new product. The award winning Marshmallow Shooters that shoot up to 30ft have been seen on Ellen, Parks and Recreation, Good Morning America, Hannah Montana, Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon. They currently have private label licensing with Duck Commander, Ghostbusters, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Its Sugar and FAO Schwartz.
