Mediaplanet to Release Educational Campaign on the Future of Cosmetic Procedures
San Francisco, Ca (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- Mediaplanet Publishing today announced the release of an educational cross-media campaign titled “The Future of Cosmetic Procedures.” The campaign will launch this spring as a national digital campaign online, anchored in the California market as an 8-12 page section distributed within the LA Times in print.
“The Future of Cosmetic Procedures” aims to debunk the negative stigma associated with cosmetic procedures, highlight the most recent innovations in the industry, and empower potential patients with the tools they need to safely navigate the industry and consider pursuing a cosmetic procedure.
Through this campaign, readers will learn about a number of topics, such as: minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, patient safety, finding the right surgeon and inspirational patient success stories. The campaign will be released in collaboration with several leading organizations in the industry including International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Eclipse Aesthetics.
Additionally the campaign will feature the expertise of leading medical professionals in the industry, including Dr. Tess Mauricio, a Board Certified Dermatologist and President of The San Diego Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and Dr. Paul Nassif, a Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Beverly Hills who will star in E!’s upcoming new television series, Botched!.
“As evolving technologies merge with improved cosmetic techniques, selecting the appropriate practitioner is critical,” says Tom O’Brien CEO of Eclipse Aesthetics. “In the proper hands the ability to reverse the signs of aging have never been greater, especially in this new modern era of aesthetic medicine.”
"With so many technologically advanced cosmetic innovations within the industry and efforts to ensure the safety of patients, facial plastic surgeons, plastic surgeons, and dermatologists are performing cosmetic procedures that are simply and effectively allowing patients to feel more confident about their appearance," stated Dr. Paul Nassif, M.D., F.A.C.S. “In addition, these skilled physicians are offering many groundbreaking non-invasive treatments that yield fantastic results for patients desiring a non-surgical alternative.”
