MidAtlantic Farm Credit Hires New Marketing Manager
Westminster, MD (PRWEB) December 01, 2015 -- MidAtlantic Farm Credit recently announced the hiring of Andrew Rose as marketing manager. He will be based in the association’s Westminster, Maryland headquarters. Rose will report directly to Sandy Wieber, Senior Vice President of Marketing for MidAtlantic Farm Credit.
“Andrew has an extensive background in marketing, sales and business development,” says Wieber. “We’re excited to have him as part of our team and working with our sales staff to help grow our customer base.”
In his role as marketing manager, Rose will work closely with the association’s loan staff and marketing specialists to help identify and meet sales needs. “It is nice to join the MidAtlantic Farm Credit team,” says Rose. “I have known and worked with them for over ten years, so it feels like coming home. I have a deep appreciation of the agricultural community and am proud to be an integral part of it here.”
Prior to joining Farm Credit, Rose worked in business development, marketing and strategic alliances for a CPA firm, which lead to him creating his own association of CPA firms that specialized in dental accounting. He was also responsible for business development and marketing at Zest SMS, located in Towson, Maryland.
Rose earned a degree in education from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. He is heavily involved in the non-profit community, serving as chief strategy officer in residence at the Emerging Technologies Centers and chair of the advisory board for the Maryland Cybersecurity Association. He is also an organizer for the TEDxBaltimore event. Rose currently resides in Baldwin, Maryland and, outside of working, enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
