Nashville Based Transport Company Announces Growth and Additional Fleet
Nashville, Tenn. (PRWEB) June 19, 2014 -- Beacon Transport is experiencing internal growth with its additional fleet and new pay package. This is the first time for Beacon to expand its fleet since 2013. With this growth, Beacon is currently looking for new drivers.
The transportation industry as a whole is experiencing a major growth trend. The U.S. Freight Transportation Forecast compiled a study that predicted a major growth in the industry by 2022. Beacon Transport is experiencing the trend this year with its additional fleet and pay package.
“We are expanding our fleet to support our growing customer base. We need qualified drivers to join our team to run in some of the most desirable freight lanes in the business,” said Stan Pritchett, Chief Manager.
The new pay package focuses on giving experienced drivers more cents per mile in travel. With Beacon’s new pay package drivers with five or more years of experience could receive $0.35 per mile. The pay package starts at drivers with two to three years of experience receiving $0.33 per mile. All drivers are eligible for an additional $0.02 per mile for fuel economy and idle bonus.
