Southwark, London (PRWEB UK) 9 May 2016 -- AXON Communications is pleased to announce the company has expanded significantly in the first quarter 2016. AXON Communications had an outstanding year in 2015, as the company underwent a period of significant change and expansion. After closing 2015 with 23% growth, the company has welcomed seven new employees to the AXON UK family this Spring, with further hires planned.
Andrew Grigg, PhD, has joined the Med Comms team as a Director, along with Kerry Stringer as a Senior Programme Director; Lisa Langley, PhD, as a Senior Medical Writer; James McCary as an Editorial Assistant / Junior Medical Writer and Thien Ho as an Editorial Assistant.
Additionally, AXON UK’s Global footprint has increased, with expansion in its Copenhagen office with Laura Pittard joining as a Programme Director, and Cindy Cheung, MD, as a medical writer based in New York, who is a core part of the AXON UK team.
“It is a very exciting time for AXON and the continued growth of our team is a proof point to our continued business growth.” said Miranda Dini, Managing Partner. “We are dedicated to hiring top talent who fit in with our close-knit culture at AXON, and strongly believe that the secret to our success resides largely with our outstanding team. We are welcoming a wealth of talent from different backgrounds, and even from different countries, to join the AXON UK family, and we believe this will strengthen the expertise we can offer to our clients.”
With a growing employee roster comes more hands to help. It is important that AXON UK gives back to the community, and the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee, which is led by members of the agency at all levels, ensures the agency has numerous opportunities to do so. AXON UK’s CSR policy focuses on four key areas that will have the most impact: ethical conduct, social investment, environmental performance and human capital development, and many of the new starters have indicated interest in getting involved.
AXON UK is delighted that the new starters are joining a company they, and the existing team, can be proud to be part of: the company has just been ranked among the top 10 Best Places to Work in the UK in 2016, according to Great Places to Work. Additionally, AXON UK has also just leapt 6 places in the top 150 PR consultancies in the UK by PRWeek, and is now ranked 35th.
