Nonprofit Live in Love Expands Its Outreach to Benefit Children of Alcoholics Worldwide
Ladera Ranch, CA (PRWEB) September 14, 2013 -- The founders of Live in Love were honored to join with Kids Around the World and St. James Catholic Youth Ministry to help villages and orphanages in both Haiti and the Dominican Republic. “The experience truly cemented our belief that Live in Love should and would serve its mission, the Kids Around the World experience in Haiti was truly the spark that founded Live in Love,” explained Valerie Hardman, co-founder of Live in Love a California based nonprofit organization formed to benefit children of alcoholics.
The focus of the Haiti trip was to build a playground out of recycled parts for an orphanage whose children typically played only on dirt and wires. The Dominican Republic team helped the local communities as well. “We were experiencing first-hand the true joy that exudes out of helping individuals in extreme poverty, it was inspiring,” said Hardman.
The founders of the Live in Love organization Jennifer Castignola, Julie Castagnola and Valerie Hardman, sisters in a cause, envisioned groups of children of alcoholics being able to experience living in love in places such as Haiti and the Dominican Republic, as well as California and the US. The sisters’ vision for Live in Love is taking shape, “That joy is contagious and to share the love with children of alcoholics who may not get to experience that emotion regularly is the driving force behind the Live in Love team,” said Jenifer Castagnola.
On September 28, 2013, Live in Love will join with Kids around the World in support of their food packing event. “We are proud to be involved with Kid Around the World, and to help them provide for children in their amazing worldwide efforts,” Valerie relayed.
Julie Castagnola added, “We hope to continue our long standing relationship with Le Red Balloon to benefit children of alcoholics everywhere.” Valerie added, “Together we will continue to peruse our relationship with Kids Around the World to help make a positive global impact on children of alcoholics.”
Thomas R. Reich, Marketing Director of CharityNet USA commented, “I have had the pleasure of working with our client Live in Love through one of their founders Valerie Hardman, and their commitment to the service of their cause is evident.”
