Terre Haute, IN (PRWEB) September 28, 2015 -- A Tale of Tree Squirrels is a beautifully illustrated photographic storybook about four different types of American tree squirrels and their adventure. This children's realistic fiction book touches on friendship and having fun together, while it introduces children to nature and environmental issues. The last page of the book includes facts about squirrels. Pat Grigg photographed the white and gray squirrels in Olney, IL and Ochlockonee River State Park, FL, the black ones in Ontario, Canada, and the fox squirrels in Terre Haute, IN.

Pat Grigg is a wildlife artist who has visited wildlife refuges, national, state and other parks across the country over many years to appreciate nature and take photographs and videos. She writes, "I am grateful to my father for introducing me to the love of nature at a very young age." She adds, “Children are our future conservationists, we need to encourage them to care for nature.”
To share her wildlife experiences she compiles the photographs into journals and books, and the videos into short movies which can be seen on YouTube.
