Grimes, Iowa (PRWEB) August 28, 2015 -- SE Gateway Drive north of SE 37th Street washed out by water main break when water tower drained in less than 20 minutes under the roadway. SE Gateway Drive is the main entrance into the Gateway industrial park, traffic had to be detoured and re-directed causing financial pain for the companies in the industrial park. Peerless Compaction was contacted by the City of Grimes and their external engineering support team to offer a solution to void fill and under-seal the roadway, reestablishing proper base support for the heavy traffic that uses the roadway daily.
Peerless Compaction Grouting was able to respond in short order and completed the 14,000 SF void fill project in a few days time allowing full use of the roadway immediately after the emergency repairs were completed.
