Personify Holds Successful User Conference, Announces 2017 Location
Austin, TX (PRWEB) April 22, 2016 -- Personify Corp, the association management and community engagement software leader, wrapped up its 17th annual user conference in Tampa yesterday after four days of training, networking and collaboration among Personify staff and leaders in the association and nonprofit space.
PersoniFest gives Personify staff and clients the opportunity to interact face-to-face and work together to overcome challenges and discover solutions to help them operate more efficiently. “We enjoy coming here because we get to see really helpful faces and interact with [other attendees] one-on-one,” said Feray Baytok, Chief Information Officer at National Conference of State Legislatures. Another customer mentioned, “I was impressed by the demo of Small World Labs. It gives us the flexibilities we wanted to offer our customers. The new add-on energizes your products and value proposition.”
One of Personify’s long standing traditions is to award a donation to a local nonprofit in the city that hosts PersoniFest each year. This year’s selected organization was Hillsborough Education Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to uniting businesses and community partners in support of Hillsborough County Public Schools. Merrell Dickey, Senior Director of Development, was on hand to accept the award.
Another highlight of PersoniFest was the keynote presentation delivered by acclaimed futurist and author Jack Uldrich. In his speech, Uldrich advised PersoniFest attendees how to navigate the future of their associations in a fast-paced world of changing technologies and prepare for competition before it even exists. Sticking with a similar theme, Khorus CEO and author Joel Trammell delivered a presentation highlighting the importance of predictive analytics, specifically at the executive level.
Following the acquisition of Small World Labs in November 2015, Personify has broadened their product set to include an online community and social collaboration platform. In order to help organizations better engage with their members, Personify added a new “Community Track” which was greeted with standing room only crowds. “The addition of the Community Track to this year’s conference was valuable to existing Small World Labs clients, but also to organizations who are looking for a new way to engage their members and encourage collaboration between constituents and staff,” said Eric Thurston, Personify president and CEO. “We look forward to expanding the Community Track at PersoniFest in the years to come.”
In the closing general session Personify announced the date and location of next year’s conference: April 2-5 in San Diego, California.
