Aspen, Colo (PRWEB) January 08, 2014 -- Pitkin County has officially announced its joining of the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, an e-procurement system from BidNet that delivers convenient, centralized online access to bid opportunities.
The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (https://www.rockymountainbidsystem.com) simplifies the purchasing process for its government agency partners by offering electronic document distribution, electronic bid submission, online vendor management and reporting capabilities to see the reach of an RFP or other solicitation. Pitkin County joins other participating agencies spread across Colorado and Wyoming, already utilizing the purchasing tools available through the bid system.

"We know there are many local, regional and national vendors who’d like to do business with us. Our vendors now have centralized access to bid opportunities from Pitkin County."
Pitkin County becomes the 99th local government agency to join the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System. The county requests all local vendors join to receive access to its bid opportunities and those of the other participating local government agencies on the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System. Vendors who register can receive real-time notification of bids, RFPs, quotes, addenda, awards and advanced notice of term contract expiration that are customized to their products and services by all participating agencies on the bid system.
