Presbyterian Senior Living Set to Welcome Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow in 2014
Dillsburg, PA (PRWEB) January 02, 2014 -- Presbyterian Senior Living has been awarded a prestigious Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellowship for 2014. The senior living provider is one of six host organizations selected to partner with an early-career architect to create sustainable, affordable housing in underserved communities, marking only the second time in the program’s 13-year history a senior living provider has received the honor. Fellow Shelly-Anne Tulia-Scott, a LEED AP and registered architect and interior designer currently based in Atlanta, will join PSL early this month.
Over the next three years, Shelly-Anne will be working exclusively on residential projects for Presbyterian Senior Living. She will assess the functionality, sustainability and efficiency of existing buildings, and advise on future development efforts of Presbyterian Senior Living campuses throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and southeastern Ohio. Shelly-Anne will work closely with staffers, including occupational therapists and nurses, to make sure living spaces address the unique physical needs of the aging population.

The Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellowship began in 2000 and offers a select few of the nation’s finest early-career architects the opportunity for first-hand training and experience in sustainable community design work. Shelly-Anne is a registered architect and LEED AP, who has worked for the past five years with a leading architectural firm in Atlanta. During that time she has received the AIA Special Award of Recognition and since 2011 has served on the AIA Atlanta Board of Directors.
