Pro Player Health Alliance Confirms Big Name Speakers at 2015 American Sleep and Breathing Academy Conference
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) September 01, 2014 -- Building on the success of the 2014 Sleep & Wellness conference, the American Sleep and Breathing Academy (ASBA) has officially announced its 2015 Sleep & Wellness conference: A Conference for Healthcare Professionals. The event will be taking place at the DoubleTree Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 10th and 11th. This years’ event promises to be yet another educational and enjoyable experience delivered by the ASBA.
In recent years, Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) has worked closely with the ASBA to offer something different than the common sleep conference. Together with PPHA, the ASBA is the only academy able to deliver big name former NFL players to speak on their experiences dealing with the life-altering effects of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). With the 2015 Sleep & Wellness conference just over seven months away, PPHA has already confirmed several speakers that will be presenting at this years conference. Hall of Fame defensive back Mike Haynes, two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Roy Green, Super Bowl Champion offensive lineman Derek Kennard and former Cardinal tight end Mark Walczak are among the lineup to present this year. The ASBA has proven to be a great partner for Pro Player Health Alliance; PPHA President David Gergen, is set to be on the cover of the fall edition of the Sleep & Wellness magazine offered by the academy.
Taking a brief look back on the 2014 conference, speakers like William Dement, MD and Emmanuel Mignot MD, PhD brought sleep medicine star power to the American Sleep & Breathing Academy. There is no doubt the ASBA will have yet another impressive speaker line-up in store for 2015. In addition to the members of PPHA that will be presenting, the academy is pleased to announce that Dr. John Tucker, lead lecturer for Henry Schein’s Sleep Complete program, will be presenting at this years’ conference. Dr. Tucker is considered by many to be one of the nation’s foremost authorities in dental sleep medicine. “You will not want to miss Dr. Tucker’s presentation, his ability to keep the audience engaged and command the room is top-notch,” says David Gergen, Executive Director of the ASBA Dental Division. Another newcomer to the ASBA this year will be Republican nominee for the Attorney General seat of Arizona, Mark Brnovich. Mr. Brnovich will be speaking about the importance of a good nights’ sleep and the direct correlation to day time performance and functionality. As a former Federal and State prosecutor, Mr. Brnovich is well aware that sleep is a vital ingredient to success in your professional life. Returning to the 2015 conference, will be former ASBA contributor Congressman Marty Russo. People are still talking about the presentation he delivered last year that was eloquently delivered to a standing-room only crowd of over 400 medical and dental professionals from around the country.
