Siftery Launches Review Service for B2B Software Products
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) December 21, 2017 -- Siftery, the San Francisco software discovery and analytics company, has announced the release of its software reviews service. Prior to launch, the company had collected over 2,000 reviews for more than 700 products. The reviews come from company leaders, budget owners, and venture capital investors.
Siftery joins other players in the software review space, including TrustRadius, G2Crowd, GetApp, and Capterra (a Gartner company).
"When building this service, we thought about what would attract busy company leaders and influencers to both contribute their opinions and also benefit from them. Ultimately, we landed at creating a reviews service that combined concision and objectivity," said Gerry Giacoman Colyer, an executive at the company. "All reviews are capped to 250 characters, forcing users to summarize their most important thoughts, while also making it easier for users to review multiple products. We're already collecting reviews at a rate similar to the largest software review aggregators."
Siftery has said they will not compensate reviewers. "We believe that providing a monetary incentive for reviewers can fundamentally affect objectivity and draw reviewers for the wrong reasons. For the busiest and most influential reviewers, a modest reward is not likely to be a motivating factor," said Bryan Weis, an executive at the company.
Additionally, Siftery differentiates itself by having a data-first driven approach to product discovery, as epitomized by the Product Recommendations AI.
