Direct Degree Pathway to Help Students Save on Total Cost of Degree
StraighterLine and Indiana Tech have created an affordable degree pathway that can help students save significantly on the total cost of their college degree. Based on course-to-course equivalency, the partnership creates a direct degree pathway to Indiana Tech for StraighterLine students.
Through this degree path, all approved general education courses completed at StraighterLine are guaranteed to transfer to Indiana Tech’s online bachelor’s degree programs if a “C” or better is earned in the courses.
Indiana Tech was founded in 1930 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Originally known as Indiana Technical College, the school focused primarily on teaching engineering and science. Indiana Tech is a private, non-profit university providing degree programs in business, engineering, computer studies, criminal sciences, and other social science fields. They have expanded beyond Fort Wayne with regional campuses and locations throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and online. Indiana Tech is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The College of Professional Studies program offers motivated students an alternative to traditional full-term classes. For undergraduate students, semesters are made up of five-week classes, while for graduate students there are six-week classes within a semester. The program is designed for the working adult student, and textbook rental is included in the tuition cost for all undergraduate degrees and most graduate classes.
