Sulzer & Green PLLC Launches With Aggressive Pricing for Intellectual Property and Antitrust Services
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) October 03, 2013 -- Sulzer & Green PLLC announces its formation and immediate commencement of operations. The firm will provide sophisticated legal representation in patent, antitrust, and business litigation, and Intellectual Property-related services such as patent prosecution. For decades, clients who litigate in the federal courts or before the International Trade Commission, or seek to patent inventions, have seen legal fees spiral out of control. Big Law’s margins have put important legal services beyond the reach of many small and mid-sized clients, and has inflated larger clients’ IP-related legal costs to unsustainable levels. Sulzer & Green PLLC has been formed to provide these services at rates that make economic sense to clients and provide an attractive alternative to Big Law.
Scope of Practice
Patent Litigation ― The firm represents plaintiffs and defendants in trials and appeals in patent litigation, in the federal district courts nationwide, before the Federal Circuit, and in the Supreme Court. It brings technical strength to bear in the mechanical and electrical arts and also handles chemical matters. The firm has significant experience representing complainants and respondents in Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission (“ITC”). The firm's members have a track record of success in their clients’ most important patent litigations, including significant victories in bet-the-company disputes.
Patent Prosecution and Opinions ― The firm represents large and small entities in connection with proceedings conducted in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including patent application preparation and prosecution, as well as in adversary proceedings such as reexaminations and Covered Business Method proceedings for patentees or their adversaries. Its members have a wealth of experience related to computer and communication technologies (including wired, wireless, and Internet-related technologies), and encompassing on-line auctions, supply chain networks, and cryptographic protection. The firm's experience also includes avionics (communications equipment and airborne lightning detection and mapping) and medical devices such as X-Ray and CT scanning equipment.
Antitrust Litigation ― The firm represents plaintiffs and defendants in antitrust disputes in the courts and before the International Trade Commission, including trials and appeals. Its antitrust practice encompasses a broad range of product and service industries, including gasoline, laser control systems, optical discs, photocopiers, pharmaceutical packaging, and sports governing bodies and standard-setting organizations. Some of the firm's cases originate in patent disputes, and others are free-standing, non-IP related antitrust disputes.
Unfair Competition and General Business Disputes ― The firm also handles unfair competition and general business disputes, including the usual panoply of business torts and breach of contract matters, on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants.
Litigation Audits ― The firm is available to audit ongoing and terminated litigations to determine whether a litigation has been handled well or poorly and whether the fees and expenses charged to the client make sense.
Veterans Affairs and Section 1983 Litigation ― The firm is expanding its practice beyond its roots in IP and business-related litigation to include veterans affairs and Section 1983 actions addressing infringements on clients’ constitutional rights.
Alternative Dispute Resolution ― The firm is experienced in arbitrations, mediations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, with a track record of success on behalf of its clients.
