The City of Ormond Beach Honored at 2016 Landscape Awards
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) October 13, 2016 -- The City of Ormond Beach was recognized as a winner in the Maintenance - Institutional/Public category. The awards were judged by a panel of landscape industry experts, who evaluated the quality of the landscaped spaces within The City’s parks and streetscapes, as well as the quality of The City’s athletic fields. The award recognizes The City’s investment in the quality of its green spaces, evident to its 40,000 residents and thousands of visitors.
Yellowstone Landscape, an FNGLA member company, has provided landscape maintenance services to The City of Ormond Beach since 2012. The City’s landscaped spaces and athletic facilities are maintained by a full time staff of more than 15 Yellowstone Landscape Professionals, whose efforts were also recognized during the awards ceremony.
Speaking about the award, Bill Dellecker, Yellowstone’s Executive Vice President said, “Since 2012 it’s been a pleasure to see how our teams have worked with The City to improve the look of the landscape. This award validates countless hours of excellent work performed by members of our service team.”
Upon receiving the award on behalf of The City, Robert Carolin, Director of Leisure Services, remarked, “It’s been great to be a part of this celebration. We’re proud of our city and honored to accept this award along with the Yellowstone team. They’ve been a great partner for us to work with.”
