The Holidays are Happening at Stepping Stones Museum for Children
Norwalk, Connecticut (PRWEB) November 06, 2013 -- It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. They’ve decked their halls, made their lists and checked them twice, and their elves have worked their holiday magic. Now, they’re ready to unveil their latest experience, Holiday Happenings. Between Monday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 5, the museum will have a sleighful of exciting daily events and activities in their winter wonderland. Holiday Happenings is a great way to usher in the holiday season and provide many fun moments while creating lasting memories.
Enjoy sock skating in the outdoor rink, get cozy inside the play-sized igloo, make way through the “Celebrations Maze,” or take part in an impromptu dance party with elves, penguins and snowpeople. Also, glide through historic Mathews Park as the Solar Express turns polar (additional fee, weather permitting), or dress up snowpeople scattered throughout the museum and visit with Santa, Frosty and other friends from the North Pole. Don’t forget your camera. Magical photo opportunities abound in front of the 15-foot holiday tree (after Dec. 5), lighted courtyard, kid-sized snow globe, festive sign posts, myriad of snowpeople, spectacular winter murals and seasonally-decorated galleries among other locations.
