The UK's favourite first date activities revealed by GigNuts.com
(PRWEB UK) 10 February 2016 -- A survey carried out by ticket website GigNuts.com has revealed the favourite first date activities for people in the UK.
In the build-up to Valentine's Day, GigNuts.com asked over 2,000 people to name their preferred romantic activity for first dates.
Answers included everything from going bowling or visiting an aquarium, to meeting up for a coffee or going to the cinema.
By far the most popular activity for romantic Brits is going for dinner, with 33% of respondents picking that as their ideal first date activity.
Indeed, 'traditional' choices like going for a meal, a coffee or meeting in a pub/bar dominated the results - suggesting us Brits prefer to keep things simple and stick to what we know when it comes to first dates.
However, there was room for some other noticeable choices. Going to see a live music gig surprisingly came in as the fourth most popular choice for first date activities for both men and women - beating the theatre and comedy gigs.
