Three Brothers Bakery’s FourPeat Results in Hall of Fame Recognition
Houston, TX (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Three Brothers Bakery, Houston’s fifth generation baked goods staple, has been inducted into The Knot’s first ever “Hall of Fame,” and recently had two of its own talented cake decorators compete in the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show, where both decorators brought home gold medals. These awards speak to the excellence and quality of work at the bakery. Three Brothers Bakery and its staff is honored to have received recognition from these two respected industry organizations.
The Knot inducted wedding professionals and businesses across the United States, who have won at least four “Best of Wedding” awards in a row since 2007, into its new VIP group, the “Hall of Fame.” The new category touts only 253 honorees nationwide providing wedding services, and a mere 10 in the Houston/East Texas area, with Three Brothers Bakery being one of only a few Texas bakeries making the cut.
“We would like to thank our customers for their continued support, and The Knot for supporting and considering us for its “Hall of Fame,'" says Bobby Jucker, fifth generation baker and bakery co-owner. “Our wedding cakes uniquely represent each couple, and we love helping our brides and their families make memories that will last a lifetime. We are dedicated to providing excellent service with cakes that taste and look great. We look forward to helping future brides plan their big days.”
Additionally, Heather Campbell and Heather Spiller, members of the talented Three Brothers Bakery cake decorating team, recently won awards while competing in the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show. Campbell won first place in Decorative Cookies, and Spiller took home the gold in Semi-Professional Cakes. A competition featuring the best-of-the best in cake crafting, the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show, produced by world famous cake artist Kerry Vincent, is a creative competition that challenges cake decorators to push the limits and create something truly exquisite.
Three Brothers Bakery and its cake decorators were thrilled to take home multiple first-place awards, and were equally proud to see decorator, Elizabeth Balderaz, win a recent bronze medal in Sculpted Cakes at the Pillsbury Bakers’ Plus Creative Decorating Competition in Las Vegas, NV.

About Three Brothers Bakery
The traditions of Three Brothers Bakery began in Chrzanow, Poland circa 1825, and were preserved despite the family’s concentration camp imprisonment during the Holocaust. Their miraculous liberation, and subsequent move to Houston, brought Eastern European scratch baking traditions to 4036 S. Braeswood Blvd and 12393 Kingsride Lane, where the owners are now proud to call themselves “memory makers who just happen to be bakers.” Perfecting the process for almost 200 years, each day the fifth generation bakers produce mostly dairy-free breads and pastries, cookies, a full line of specialty dessert cakes and pies, as well as custom birthday, special occasion, wedding and groom’s cakes using only the highest quality ingredients.
The Three Brothers Bakery pecan pie was named “the best mail order pecan pie America has to offer” by Country Living magazine, and most recently, bakery owner, Bobby Jucker competed in the popular ‘Food Network Challenge’ and has been seen on Food Network’s Outrageous Food. Three Brothers won “1st Place Cupcake 2012” from Retail Bakers of America as well as “Best Mail-Order Pies 2012” from Bon Apetit. The bakery also won Modern Baking’s “2013 Retail Bakery of the Year” and was part of The Knot’s “2010-2013 Best of Weddings” and “Hall of Fame” picks. Three Brothers Bakery is a certified Woman-Owned Business through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and a State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business.
