YUE Magazine Celebrates the Fall 2013 Power Issue
(PRWEB) November 07, 2013 -- Chiu-Ti Jansen, Publisher of YUE Magazine and Joseph Meyer, CEO of Observer Media, hosted a cocktail reception on Wednesday, November 6th to celebrate the launch of YUE’s Fall 2013 Power Issue at the Gilbert Albert flagship store in Manhattan. In the fall issue, the re-designed YUE includes a feature on China’s top stand-up artist-comedian Zhou Libo, and a story about Chinese models pursuing dream careers in New York City. In addition, it presents the hottest fashion trends for the fall season along with the not-to-be missed accessories that convey power and authority.
“Our new look and exclusive content reinforce the essence of our brand: unsurpassed luxury and access. We were delighted to celebrate this new milestone on the occasion of Gilbert Albert’s and Royal Salute’s 60th anniversary,” Publisher Chiu-Ti Jansen said.
The festivity brought together 100-plus notable Chinese and New Yorkers for an evening of perusing Gilbert Albert’s latest collections and Royal Salute Scotch Whisky. Guests included: Madame Wang Min, Geoffrey Bradfield, Chien Chung Pei, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Patricia Shian and many more.
This year, Gilbert Albert commemorates its 60th anniversary of the creation and design of the Gilbert Albert jewelry house. “We are excited to host the launch of YUE’s fall issue in Gilbert Albert’s New York City boutique. Gilbert Albert has always been a designer that embraces women from all over the world. It is also an honor to celebrate our 60th Anniversary with YUE, a trendsetter in fashion, business and design,” explains Sharon Ray, Vice President of Gilbert Albert.
Similarly, Royal Salute celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, having been created to mark the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Then, as now, Royal Salute has honored the world’s most powerful and successful individuals through the acknowledgement of nobility and heritage. It is the favored Scotch Whisky in China, where the Chinese elite select Royal Salute as their “choice drink among friends.” Jill Heisler, Director of Prestige Marketing at Pernod Ricard USA (parent company to Royal Salute, co-leader in the spirits and wines sector worldwide, number one in the Premium segment) commented, “Royal Salute is proud to support YUE Magazine’s Power Issue, as its audience of affluent Chinese residents and travelers are the same aficionados of our luxury Scotch Whisky.
