Zagoria Law Settles Dog Bite Case in Alabama for $60,000
(PRWEB) August 29, 2016 -- Zagoria Law, an Atlanta-based law firm specializing in personal injury cases, today announced that it has settled a pit bull attack case on behalf of a plaintiff in Alabama for $60,000, based on a demand letter submitted to the defendant’s insurance company (claim number 018973746-3).
The incident occurred when the 14-year old plaintiff was attending a neighbor’s Halloween party in Phenix City, Alabama. The plaintiff was playing in the backyard of the neighbor’s home when the owner released his pit bull into the yard. Plaintiff was bitten by the dog, named “Munchie,” and suffered extensive injuries to his left wrist. Significant suturing was needed to close his wound, and a subsequent infection necessitated additional medical care.
