Professional Engineers Bring the "Panic Free Job Search Program” to Ottawa
Ottawa, ON (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- The Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) have partnered with Paul Hill and Transition to Hired to bring the ground breaking and successful Panic Free Job Search Program to Engineers across Ontario with the next event in Ottawa. The intensive job hunting program is based on job search expert Paul Hill's acclaimed book, The Panic Free Job Search: Unleash the Power of the Web and Social Networking to Get Hired.
The Panic Free Job Search Program consists of four phases, including a two day hands-on workshop where Engineers bring their phones and laptops into the classroom and do a job search with the guidance of Paul Hill, a veteran head-hunter and job search trainer. This in-class training is followed by a 3 week step-by-step action plan supported with on-going training and coaching.
"Adult learners are notorious for attending classes and shelving away their notes never to look at them again and not putting into action what they have learnt in workshops," said Paul Hill, author of The Panic Free Job Search book and Chief Instructor at Transition to Hired. "What is unique about our program beyond the ground breaking tactics participants learn, is that all job hunters, be they employed and seeking a step-up or unemployed and needing a job, leave the classroom with a job search plan and a follow-on 3 week customized job search plan. Engineers also get on-going support and coaching to keep them on track and assure their success. Professional support during job search is the key to following through and getting hired or re-hired quickly."
The Panic Free Job Search Program's promise is to deliver a proven job search system consisting of 4 blended learning phases to penetrate the public job market and the hidden job market. Each of these phases supplies the Engineers with the tools, processes, and methodologies to secure new work opportunities.
"This is a must attend event. OSPE works hard to find and secure the best trainers for our members. Paul Hill has delivered outstanding programs for us in the past with great feedback from our members. He is entertaining and always over delivers and I know that engineers who are unemployed, underemployed, those new to Canada or new graduates will all benefit greatly from this hands-on workshop," said John Moudakis, Manager, Professional Development and Career Services for OSPE.
"We are pleased and excited to work with John Moudakis and to have his valuable input and backing in bringing our success formula to all Engineers across Ontario," said Navgeet Bajaj, co-leader and trainer of the Panic Free Job Search Program.
Registration for the Panic Free Job Search Program is on a first come basis at OSPE's Professional Development page.
