Global Sports Development's Award Winning Documentary Short "Munich '72 and Beyond" Comes to New York City for a Limited Engagement
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) November 02, 2017 -- “Munich ’72 and Beyond,” a documentary short from Sidewinder Films, will be screened in a limited engagement at Cinema Village, November 3-9 at 12 pm noon daily. The theater is located in Greenwich Village at 22 East 12th Street.

“Munich ’72 and Beyond” takes a deeper look into the killing of 11 Israeli athletes and coaches as a result of a Palestinian terrorist attack at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. The short documentary reveals alarming new evidence about the attack and subsequent events while also giving a voice to the family members whose lives were forever changed that day.
“Munich ’72 and Beyond” won Best Documentary at the 2016 LA Shorts Fest and was nominated in the “Outstanding Research” category for the 38th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards.
