"The Day The Music Died" started as an idea discussed and created with myself and Producer Spencer Proffer (CEO of Meteor 17) during the early onset of the pandemic. Once I connected with Don McLean's manager Kirt Webster about the idea it all started to click. Spencer took the idea to a level we never expected and we are all so proud to be a part of it!" – Ray De La Garza.
Ray is currently in post-production for his next two films; "Point Of No Return…X-posed," (Producer/Director) where he will unveil the story of a "freestyle" music trio that became the Miami-based, world recognized girl group "Expose." He's also the Executive Producer of the documentary "Lifestyle…The Ultimate Lowriders" now in pre-production. Both projects combine music, street and pop culture.
