EL CAJON, Calif., Sept. 14, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ervin F. Johnston, who was a patent attorney for forty-three years and is a retired Naval Reserve Captain, has completed his new book "I Can Dream, Can't I?": a unique and engaging children's story about a variety of things, including a musical kitchen, dancing with squirrels and a tree, and so much more.
Author Ervin F. Johnston commenced writing this book after his ninetieth birthday. The stories in this book include events and sayings he picked up along the way. Each of the twenty-two chapters is a dream which permits an unbelievable fantasy, such as visiting the jungle on the back of an elephant, exploring a cave for diamonds and gold, using five monkeys high to paint a house, experiencing a blanket ride into space, doing chores with the "think" system, and traveling to another universe.
The author's wife, Louise, loved to tell and hear stories. She was an inspiration for the author to write this book.
Author Ervin F. Johnston writes, "The first encounter we had was with a big male lion who ran away. Mrs. Elephant said, 'I had to teach that lion a lesson a couple of days ago. He thinks he is king of the jungle with that big mane around his neck. He attacked me, thinking he would have elephant burgers for lunch. I caught him in midair with my trunk, and then I slammed him against that tree and knocked him silly. He stumbled around for about a minute and then wandered off. Now, you know why I am king or, maybe I should say, I am queen of the jungle."
Published by Page Publishing, Ervin F. Johnston's creative tale ignites the imaginations of young readers, encouraging them to explore their wildest dreams.
Readers who wish to experience this original work can purchase "I Can Dream, Can't I?" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
