PIEDMONT, Ala., April 7, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ira Dent, an outspoken radio legend, has completed his new book "If You Ain't a Gator": a gripping and potent collection of humorous rhymes and lists.
"My name is Ira Dent. I got started talking sports on the radio when Chuck Blair, a good friend, told me about 1390 AM Sports Talk Radio. So I called, and the Gatorman took off like wildfire. I came up with the name Gatorman because I am the biggest Gator fan that ever lived. I started doing little rhymes, then it turned into long rhymes, and all of a sudden, I started doing sports poetry. My next move was the top-ten lists of why this or why that. My next project was sports rap. I've done a few promotions for the radios with a clean sports rap. The book is intended to be comical so everyone can laugh and can just enjoy sports and never get uptight about your team's performance. My belief in sports is, 'Whatever is meant to be will be.' So enjoy the book and have fun reading the book. I hope I did not offend anyone, because it was not my intent; the book is supposed to be comical," introduces author Ira Dent.
