Author John Erfurth's New Book "Woodrow's Fun Day on the Ranch" Shares the Adorable Adventures of a Working Cow Dog
Recent release "Woodrow's Fun Day on the Ranch" from Page Publishing author John Erfurth is the latest addition to the Buckaroo Dog series.
KELSEYVILLE, Calif., Feb. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- John Erfurth, a lifelong rancher with a passion for the cowboy lifestyle that has been passed down through generations of his family, has completed his new book "Woodrow's Fun Day on the Ranch: The Adventures of the Buckaroo Dog Series": a collection of the humorous exploits of John's three working cow dogs, Wes, Waddie, and the youngest one, Woodrow.
"This book is about Woodrow having lots of fun with all the critters and ranch kids, as the young pup learns how to be a ranch cow dog on the Dry Gulch Land and Cattle Company in eastern Oregon," John Erfurth said of his endearing book.
Published by Page Publishing, John Erfurth's stories are illustrated by Etienne "A-10" Etcheverry, a cowboy, a potash miner, a trucker, a professional student, and a schoolteacher. Etcheverry is the recipient of the 1998 Academy of Western Artists award for the Cowboy Cartoonist of the Year.
"I've always had good cow dogs working with me, and wanted to write stories about them," John Erfurth said of his book. Since the mid-1940s, the author has produced rodeos, was a livestock manager, and always maintained an active role in the industry. "I started training racehorses in the 1970s, until I went on to the motion picture business providing props for them. I did this until 2006. Now I have a radio broadcasting show called the Buckaroo Man Show, where real cowboy singers and poetry readers come on the show. It's a real jam session."
Readers who wish to experience this tail-wagging tale can purchase "Woodrow's Fun Day on the Ranch" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
