Author Henry Fusco tells a tale of good vs. evil, and the Dark Prince of Naples in his new book
DAYVILLE, Conn., Aug. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author Henry Fusco loves to tell stories of heroic knights and epic battles. His stories center around one of the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades, the Knights Templar.
"A Templar Knight's Tale: The Quest" is a historical fiction, based on the Knights Templar, an elusive organization of devout Christians during the medieval era committed to protecting European travelers visiting sites in the Holy Land, while carrying out military operations. They were also the first international bankers in the world.
"Within 50 years," Fusco said, "the Knights Templar became relatively wealthy overnight and no one knows what happened to the Templar treasure."
Fusco became interested in the Templar Knights while studying history at Eastern Connecticut University. He wrote a piece about them for a project and decided to revisit his research years later.
"I found out I had a distant uncle who was actually a regent in Naples," Fusco said. "That's when this story came to me and I knew I had to share it."
