MAPLE RIDGE, British Columbia (PRWEB) December 04, 2020
Author Ligia Carvalho announces today the release of her new book “My dragon doesn’t want to wear shoes,” in hopes to bring the message to little kids about bullying and confidence.
Author Ligia Carvalho knows the importance of talking about bullying and self-confidence at an early age. The book shows the story of a little dragon named Freddy, who is struggling with self-confidence because his friends make fun of his green shoes.
"Little kids learn through association; therefore, the book is here to highlight common situations that can happen in every school, when little kids can make fun of each other for simple reasons. I am sure many kids can relate to Freddy's story, and I really hope they can see how being confident in yourself can turn things around," says Ligia Carvalho
The book also brings some activities in the end, another way to help parents to talk about bullying and how to spread kindness.
“Nothing better than coloring and expressing your feelings to help kids to talk about it and understand these topics. The activities will facilitate parents to bring the discussion further,” affirms the author.
The book is available for sale online in all major retailers and distributors across the globe.
